Christ & Heiri AG, based in Selzach, Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland, is your leading partner for high-precision geared parts and turned parts, specialising in small and large series for medical technology, the automotive industry, and defence technology. Our expertise also encompasses micro-gearing for the watchmaking and other high-precision industries. We manufacture custom products of the highest quality at two state-of-the-art production sites.
Your gear manufacturer in Baden-Württemberg, specialising in the production of turned parts, gears, and worms with short lead times. We offer the right process for every quantity. At our sites in Löffingen in the Black Forest (Germany) and Mexico (automotive supply for North America), we use broaching for uniform surfaces, ideal for acoustically critical drives (Low Noise).

Each segment acts like an independent company within the Christ & Heiri Group and specialises in a specific client group. This approach ensures an end-to-end manufacturing process, from turning and gear cutting through to the assembly or finishing of components.
Locations of the Christ & Heiri Group
On a production area of around 6000 m², we manufacture over 2 million geared parts weekly. Production, testing, and packaging are largely fully automated, ensuring continuous operation (24/7). The Christ & Heiri Group has 100 high-performance gear cutting machines and 50 turning machines.

The impeccable quality of our gear products is our highest priority. Therefore, we continuously review and optimise processes throughout the entire Christ & Heiri Group. Our sites are certified according to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015. In addition, our sites are certified as follows:

Founding of the Grieshaber company in Eisenbach in the Black Forest, Germany, by Robert Grieshaber.
1947
Christ & Heiri AG is founded in Selzach by Armin Christ, German Christ, and Robert Heiri. The company primarily produces parts for the watchmaking industry.
1995
Arno Heiri takes over Christ & Heiri AG, becoming the sole shareholder.
2009
Michael Grieshaber and Heinrich Aicher take over Robert Grieshaber GmbH & Co. KG and rename it Grieshaber Feinmechanik GmbH & Co. KG.
2015
Christ & Heiri is acquired by an investor group represented by Verium.
2016
Grieshaber Feinmechanik opens a production site in Monterrey, Mexico.
2017
Christ & Heiri acquires Grieshaber Feinmechanik, becoming a globally leading gearing company.
2018
Grieshaber Feinmechanik relocates from Eisenbach to its new production facility in Löffingen.
2020
Christ & Heiri establishes another production site for turned parts in Selzach.
2024
Christ & Heiri is ISO 13485 certified, the standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system for the design, manufacture, and distribution of medical devices.
2025
Christ & Heiri is officially carbon-neutral.
