GUIDELINE ON THE WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTION SYSTEM (GRIESHABER FEINMECHANIK GMBH)

The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) regulates the protection of natural persons who, in connection with their professional activities or in the context of preparing for professional activities, acquire information about violations and report or disclose this information to the reporting channels specified by this law.
The law applies to reports and disclosures of information as defined in Section 2 of the HinSchG, including but not limited to:

• Violations that are subject to criminal penalties
• Violations that are subject to fines, insofar as the violated provision serves to protect life, physical integrity, health, or the rights of employees or their representative bodies
• Other violations of legal provisions of the Federal Government and the states, as well as directly applicable legal acts of the European Union
• Violations of legal provisions of the Federal Government and the states, as well as directly applicable legal acts of the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community
• Violations of tax laws applicable to corporations and partnerships
• Violations in the form of agreements designed to obtain a tax advantage in an abusive manner, contrary to the objectives or purposes of tax laws applicable to corporations and partnerships
