GRIESHABER FEINMECHANIK INVESTS IN NEW CNC SINGLE-SPINDLE LATHES

Grieshaber Feinmechanik has invested in 5 new Citizen A20 single-spindle lathes for various major customer projects. After construction, alignment and set-up of the machines, they are now all running at full speed.

These machines are particularly suitable for chasing brass screws. But also turning blanks made of free-cutting steel can be machined here and then toothed on a gear cutting machine.

In addition, new specialists have been hired to operate the machines, who enrich our team with their experience. They are now additionally supported by a collaborative robot which takes care of the monotonous work of palletizing the produced parts.

For the end of the year the purchase of 3 more identical machines is planned, which will fill the production hall at Grieshaber and set a small exclamation mark in times of the Corona crisis. It goes on!
